Born in Düsseldorf, Christoph grew up in Hamburg, London and Switzerland. In 1991 he returned to London where he trained at Central Saint Martins College and the Bournemouth & Poole College of Art and Design. After finishing his education, he assisted various fashion and advertising photographers in London. On a sunny afternoon in Buenos Aires in 1999 he decided that the time had finally come to go out on his own. Having started shooting fashion in London, Christoph soon found himself in Paris where he quickly discovered his passion for beauty and portrait photography. Since then he has worked with magazines such as French Marie Claire, BIBA, DS Magazine, Madame Figaro, German Marie Claire, Wig Magazine and Sunday Times Style. Advertising clients include Clinique, Lancome and Estee Lauder, Jung van Matt / Hamburg, Publicis / London, the Body Shop, Avon / Uk and Frank Provost / Paris.

In 2008 he won the first prize in the category Advertising at the Prix de la Photographie Paris.

Christoph lives and works in London and Hamburg.
